How It Works:
The sensor probe is attached to the outsidewall of the storage tank, forming a capacitive system with the tank wall. When the liquid level changes, the electric field distribution between the probe and the medium (air or electrolyte) changes, causing a variation in capacitance. A precision chip inside the sensor detects this minute change and converts it into a level signal.
Why This Principle is Ideal for Vanadium Electrolyte?
Vanadium electrolyte has a high dielectric constant (significantly higher than air). When the level rises to the sensor's detection zone, the system's overall capacitance changes markedly. This property provides a clear, high signal-to-noise ratio detection signal, resulting in:
