In 2023, level sensors from Shenzhen SingoCreate Technology Co., Ltd. were successfully applied in a domestic 200MWh all-vanadium flow battery energy storage power station project, withstanding the test of harsh operating conditions.
Project Background:
This station, a national demonstration project, had extremely high reliability requirements for critical components. The originally specified imported contact sensors showed signs of measurement drift and corrosion during commissioning.
Solution:
  • Replaced all sensors on 32 electrolyte storage tanks with SingoCreate Tech's XKC-Y29A series non-contact capacitive level sensors.

  • Equipped each tank with dual-point monitoring (high/low level).


Operational Results (As of May 2024):
  • Zero Failure Operation: All sensors experienced zero failures due to corrosion.

  • Accurate Data: Level measurement error stabilized within ±3mm.

  • Maintenance-Free: No maintenance intervention required since commissioning.
